After earning a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Wolverhampton Business School, Koumba pursued a Master’s in Organization and Change Management from IAE - Business School at the University of Lyon, followed by an Executive MBA from emlyon business school. Koumba has a rich background across various sectors in Africa and beyond, including roles at BNP Paribas and the Aga Khan Development Network in Ouagadougou, where she contributed to their financial success with her management skills and strategic vision.

She has also held key positions as a strategy and organization consultant at Accordance in Paris, advising both public and private sector companies, and as a change management consultant at SNCF. Throughout her career, Koumba has been dedicated to creating jobs for youth and women. As a Manager of a co-investment fund, she worked to enhance the competitiveness of the private sector in West Africa. Her work with the West Africa Trade and Investment Hub (WATIH) under USAID demonstrated her commitment to sustainable economic development.

Koumba made significant contributions as an investment manager at Dalberg, leading projects related to impact investing, agriculture, competitiveness, and education. Her extensive experience at Dalberg strengthened her ability to identify innovative and sustainable solutions for Africa’s complex challenges. Currently, Koumba serves as the Finance and Investment Director at Investisseurs & Partenaires - I&P Education to Employment, where she continues to champion the empowerment of African youth and women through education and employment. She joined WIC-CI in July 2022 as Treasurer, dedicating herself to optimizing the club’s finances. She is a valuable asset to the association.
