Cornelia Jahnel is a passionate networker with an entrepreneurial spirit and can look back on more than 25 years of professional life in which she gained extensive experience in international sales and corporate communication as well as in financing young companies. Thus, she has built up Asia sales for a biotech company, headed Investor Relations at stock listed JENOPTIK AG and lead six years the German office for an English VC fund as investment manager.

Eight years ago, she founded her consultancy company COM3consult. Her motto: Communicate - Combine - Compose. She enjoys to discover ideas, bring people together who want to add value in that cause, develop a common success while creating sustainable partnerships. Her long-standing local and international network helps developing new business ideas. Thus, she started with an experienced team TAPODTS (by COM3 trading), her own shoe and accessory brand, being on the market for five years now.

As a volunteer Cornelia founded with AVESTA a business angel club for the region of Central Germany, further developing the BA culture in that region. She is a technical advisor to the US based ASTIA angel fund and a jury member of several business plan competitions. For more than four years Cornelia actively jointed the Association of German Businesswomen e.V. (VdU). She heads the district group in the State of Saxony, is member of the board in the international commission and co-initiator of the female investors network within the VdU. As a mentor she participates in the Ouissal mentoring program by EMA e.V.
