Mberry is a Technology and Digital Transformation Expert with a combined experience of 8 years advising various organisations on their strategic priorities, with a particular focus on digital transformation.
She currently serves as the Regional Tech Advisor covering West Africa, Central Africa and Morocco for the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI). At TBI, she advises political leaders, governments and public sector organisations on strategy, policy and delivery with a technology angle, to help them achieve their digital transformation, and ultimately, economic development ambitions.
Mberry is co-founder of Mëlotek, a Senegalese startup, which develops SaaS products in the digital government, digital health and education technology space. She also serves as Vice-Treasurer at the Women’s Investment Club (WIC) Sénégal, an organization that envisions to put women at the forefront of economic development in francophone West Africa. During her time as WIC Manager, she co-designed and structured the first investment fund for women-led businesses in Senegal (WIC Capital), led the creation of a technical assistance facility to foster a pool of high-performing women-led businesses (WIC Academy) and managed a network of 86 high-profile women angel investors, as well as their investments in the regional stock exchange. She also worked as a Strategy Consultant on several projects in the entrepreneurship and inclusive finance/gender-lens investing space.
Mberry holds a Master of Science in Data Science from King's College London and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from John Carroll University.
