Currently the General Director of SUNU Assurances Vie Sénégal for nearly 15 years, Mrs. Khady Ndaw SY previously held the position of Deputy General Director from 2006 to 2009, under its former name UASEN VIE. Humble, rigorous, available, and very inspiring, she is one of the few female leaders of an insurance company in Senegal.

As a young woman fresh out of high school with a scientific baccalaureate, she had a vision to persevere and continue her studies in France. She joined preparatory classes for entrance exams to prestigious schools and, once admitted, earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Applied Mathematics to Fundamental Sciences (Jussieu – Paris) before passing her DEA (Diplôme d’Études Approfondies) in Statistics and Random Models in Economics and Mathematical Finance, and finally a Master’s in Economic and Statistical Modeling with a specialization in Actuarial Finance from ENSAE-Paris.

With a strong and extensive academic background, she quickly joined major companies in Paris, including Crédit Commercial de France, AXA, and finally the ATHENA Assurances group. Her attachment to her home country of Senegal and her desire to contribute to its development led her to return to Senegal in 2000 to occupy senior positions at CSAR-Vie, which became UASen Vie and is now SUNU Assurances Vie Sénégal, which she has been leading since 2009.
