Leilah Yatassaye specializes in Marketing and Communication strategy. After earning a degree in marketing engineering and a master’s in international public relations from CARDIFF UNIVERSITY in the United Kingdom, she began her career in agro-industry as a product manager for UNILEVER Francophone Africa. There, she led the strategies for international brands Close Up and OMO across several West African markets before moving into the media sector. In 2012, she joined the CANAL+ group, contributing to the brand’s transition to a more accessible and aspirational brand in Côte d’Ivoire. As Marketing & Communication Manager, she managed brand strategies and all institutional communication initiatives, including anti-counterfeiting efforts. In 2017, Leilah founded Brand Input, a marketing strategy and media management consulting firm, where she shared her expertise with over twenty local and international companies in the agro-industry, banking, and telecommunications sectors. She also supported entrepreneurs in their development and structuring of agricultural businesses in Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal.

She further trained in entrepreneurship support and capacity-building through various programs and received a certification from Babson College in small and medium enterprise management and development.

In 2021, Leilah joined the Barry Callebaut African cluster, a Belgian-Swiss leader in cocoa processing, where she managed institutional communication across six West and Central African markets.

Since March 2024, Leilah has transitioned to the banking sector, joining the Atlantic Group where she holds the position of Marketing, Communication, and Customer Experience Director for AFG Holding. She coordinates the overall financial segment strategy across its 13 banking, insurance, and microfinance subsidiaries.

As a founding member and the first Communication Lead of WIC-CI, Leilah continues to support women entrepreneurs through WIC, leveraging her expertise and knowledge of sub-regional markets to help women grow their businesses.
