Ghyslaine de Souza is a Senior Reviser at the French Translation Service of the United Nations Secretariat. A former student of École Mariama Bâ (Class of 1985), she pursued higher education in France, completing hypokhâgne and khâgne before earning a Master’s in English from the University of Orléans and a DESS in Professional Translation from the University of Strasbourg’s Institute of Translation, Interpretation, and International Relations.

With nearly 25 years of experience as a translator, she has worked with major international organizations, including the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, the World Bank, the International Criminal Court, and the United Nations.

Based in New York, where she lives with her two daughters, Ghyslaine has been a member of WIC since 2017.
