After earning a Bachelor in Business Administration from Suffolk University and a Master in International Business from the American Business School in Paris, Stéphanie Sarr Dioh gained a decade of experience in project management, marketing, sales, and implementing information systems across various sectors, including telecommunications, education, and the automotive industry in France.

In 2015, she returned home with a strong desire to drive change in her country and the region, leveraging her extensive background. Passionate about new technologies and recognizing their potential as a development catalyst, she specialized in mobile financial services. In 2017, she launched and managed the Senegalese branch of the American start-up Wave Mobile Money, which uses technology to promote financial inclusion. She currently serves as the Product and Engineering Director at Wave Digital Finance, the electronic money issuer. Today, Wave is Senegal’s first unicorn.

Stéphanie is deeply committed to issues related to gender diversity and children’s education, particularly for girls in Africa. She firmly believes they are the key to the continent’s development.
