She began her professional career as a consultant in international business law and tax law for several national and international entities, including governments and consulting firms such as PwC and multinational corporations, including companies int he Bouygues Group.
It was in 1998 that her commitment and passion for Africa's economic development took over and led her to the prestigious African financial institution - the African Development Bank (AfDB), where she joined as a Principal Legal Counsel.
Her ascent within this institution did not take long; she successively held the positions of Head of the Procurement and Fiduciary Services Department in 2007, then Manager of the Institutional Reform Implementation Team in 2010.
Yacine is committed to strengthening her skills through high-level training and participates in the "Senior Managers in Government" program at the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government. Two years later, she was appointed Resident Representative of the AfDB in Morocco, then Deputy General Manager overseeing AfDB operations in six North African countries.
To crown this impressive ascent to the highest positions at the AfDB, Yacine was appointed Director-General of the President's Cabinet of the #AfDB in 2020, where she managed to bring about considerable change despite the challenging context of the global pandemic.
Today, with over thirty years of service to Africa, Yacine continues to shine and share her expertise through consultancy and training around the world.
As a founding member of WIC Côte d'Ivoire, strongly attached to the values of solidarity and mutual aid, she is a true wealth of knowledge, and we are proud to have her in our club.
